Ingredients:
Filtered water, Tapioca Syrup, Almond paste (2.65%), Sunflower oil, Sunflower lecithin, Sea salt, Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking soda), Gellan Gum
Almond paste:
Is used in the food industry to manufacture almond milk as it simplifies the manufacturing process, as manufacturers do not need to grind and then blend ingredients, only blend. Almond paste is natural and made of 100% almonds, there are no hidden nasties.
Almond Percentage:
Percentage of almonds does not dictate quality when it comes to almond milk. Different brands use different ingredients to influence the emulsion and “body” of their almond milk. As Bonsoy Almond Milk uses the concentrated form of almonds (paste) the development team have found that 2.65% works perfectly for the best formulation and greatest mouthfeel.
Tapioca syrup - VS - Raw Sugar
Tapioca syrup contains fewer glucose molecules in its composition than sugar, therefore fewer calories. Tapioca syrup is a polysaccharide carbohydrate which means it is not converted into sugar immediately after consumption, therefore your blood sugar levels will not peak like they would after sugar consumption.
