Brew pressure gauge
The brew pressure gauge provides immediate feedback on the brew head's pressure, allowing you to make changes to your coffee grind to achieve optimal results. With 18 grams of ground coffee in your double filter basket aim for 36 - 40 grams of espresso out in 25 - 30 sec. The pressure gauge should be in the middle of the green zone while your shot is pouring. If the pressure is too high, your grind is too fine. If the pressure is too low, your grind is too coarse.
Over Pressure Valve
An OPV (Overpressure valve) limits the group head pressure for optimal extraction so that bitter coffee does not result from high brew pressure.
No Burn Steam Wand
The steam wand produces a powerful dry steam ideal for texturing milk. The ball joint connection allows perfect positioning of the steam wand. The commercial soft-close valve provides easy steam pressure control with minimal wear. Cool-touch technology makes the wand easier to handle and easier to clean as milk is less likely to bake on.
The new Lelit control centre incorporates a PID allowing you to program the coffee and steam temperatures. The PID system powers the boiler elements maintaining temperatures that are much more stable than a simple on/off thermostat switch. The stable coffee boiler temperature control is vital for perfect coffee extraction, and the stable steam boiler temperature provides strong consistent steam pressure. The system also allows you to time your single and double shots with automatic shut off after the pour, programmable pre-infusion - Steam pressure and pump pressure Blume, monitor the water tank level, turn the steam boiler off to conserve power and clean the machine with an automatic backflush program.
